The Morrison Inn: Your Destination for Authentic Tex-Mex Delights

Best margaritas in Morrison. We love coming here and having margs and beers on the patio. The food is decent, service can be hit or miss. Generally the staff is friendly. If you’re looking for Mexican food and libations in Morrison this is a solid pick.

Such a great Gem ! Was passing through to visit red rocks . Food came out quick , Food was awesome and servings were large! Views outside while eating were amazing. Would come back if visiting nearby again. Staff was great .

Went back for a quick margarita and tried their updated salsa recipe. It’s perfect this time! Don’t change it. The staff is all great and you can’t go wrong with the mini chili rellenos.

I’ve been coming here as a local for over 25 years and love it. It’s a staple of the town of Morrison and if you’re passing through defiantly stop by. I don’t think the food will blow you away, but it’s still really good. You come here to get some good greasy Mexican food, hang out on the patio and sip a marg. I will say the margs here are incredible. The staff is also world class and the patio so incredibly fun and a super great vibe. If you want a taste of Morrison and what it was like in the 90s/2000s make sure to stop here.

Our server Kim was so fast and sweet, we ordered our dessert in the middle of our lunch and she had timed it out perfectly. Our drinks were never empty. Our food was okay but the fried ice cream was phenomenal!

Came here for an early lunch, and was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The patio is awesome. The food was great. Juan's Loco Limeade was refreshing and had a good amount of tequila. They have live music on weekend afternoons and nights. If you are in the area I would totally recommend stopping by.

We had an amazing experience at the Morrison Inn Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive from start to finish. We especially loved the fajitas and tacos—they were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. What truly stood out, though, was their kindness. After we left, we realized my daughter had forgotten a souvenir. The staff went out of their way to find it and were thoughtful enough to mail it back to us. That level of care and generosity is rare and unforgettable. It’s also perfectly located right outside Red Rocks, making it super convenient to stop by after visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Colorado!

Awesome place. Any time we go thru Morrison we stop in. It seems like the food has gotten much better than before! The margaRONAS are the fave, especially the one with jalapeños! This time we had the Poo Poo Plate, Chx chimichanga and kids chx tenders and fried ice-cream Service is great!!
